Rosters must be finalized by 4th week of play.
To play in the playoffs a person must shoot in an average of one game per week For example- If we have a 16-week regular season, the player must have played in at least 16 games to be eligible for the playoffs (not matches).
Home Team chooses where they sit at their home club
AWAY Team scores first each night and scoring alternates the rest of the night (Away team scores Odd number matches, Home team even)
Opposite from scoring team shoots Bull first each game of 501 and Cricket
For 301, there is no closest to Bull- The person on the same team as scorer shoots first in the first leg. Loser of the first leg shoots first in the second leg. If a 301 match goes to the third leg, the winner of the FIRST leg chooses the order for shooting the bull for the third-leg.
Home team Capitan fills in Roster Sheet first each night, folds sheet in half and provides to Away team Capitan to complete their lineup without looking at the Home team lineup.
If a team is Shorthanded, the shorthanded team decides when they forfeit in 301- it does not default to the final set
Team with higher seed in the playoffs selects where they play on Tuesday night and Thursday night (might select both Home +Away bars)
First tie-break is standings , then head-to-head season points
When scoring, always face forward, at an angle, to best view the dartboard
Do not step in the alley before all darts have been thrown, UNLESS asked by the shooter to check a thrown dart's position
Always project a fair and neutral disposition when scoring.
DO NOT COACH OR SUGGEST a combination to throw
Refrain from making any noises or speaking during a throw unless asked by the shooter
DO NOT MOVE OR FIDGET when shooter is at the oche/toe-line
Do not move your head or look away from the board DURING A PLAYER'S THROW- Never face or look at the shooter during their turn.
Do not carry on conversation when keeping score
Do not complain or argue if asked to be replaced
